Between Calls is built for EMS and flight crews who need food fast. We collect as little as possible — here's exactly what the app handles and why.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and display name, used to sign you in and credit the tips you post.
Content you post: crew tips, ratings, wait times, and price notes you add for a restaurant, plus the spots you save.
Location: we use your device location only to search for hospitals, airports, and food near you. Your live location is never stored.
Usage data: anonymous, aggregated events (such as "a hospital search happened") that help us understand which features crews use. They contain no personal identifiers.

Crew tips are shared content — anything you post (tip text, rating, wait time, price note, and your display name) is visible to other Between Calls users.
Your saved spots are private to your account and are never shown to anyone else.

To run the app: find hospitals and airports, look up nearby food and quick-stop supplies, and keep your saved spots and tips.
To improve the app: anonymous usage events tell us what to build next.
We never sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Between Calls is a paid download on the App Store. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We don't receive or store your card details.

Hospital, airport, and restaurant information comes from OpenStreetMap and its public geocoding services. Those services may receive the search query or coordinates, but not your identity.

From the Saved page in Between Calls you can permanently delete your account. That wipes your saved spots and crew tips immediately, and removes your account data. You can also request deletion by contacting us.

Between Calls is intended for working EMS, flight, and hospital crews, and is not directed at children under 13.
